A collaborative 5-way split LP from some of the finest moody buggers that we could scrape together. A rag-tag team of misfits with just a few things in common: guitars, a love of tape-hiss and a penchant for being either sad, angry or both.

Each of these artists are separated geographically, by age, gender and in their approaches to their music and the end results of each of these approaches are just as diverse (or, as diverse as mumbly lo-fi singer songwriters get) but, despite these differences, each manages to capture a common, if not universal, strand of cosmic ennui and throws a sly wink and stoic chuckle in the face of it. Whimsy and whist and whatever.

Anyways, they are all pretty ace at what they do so we got them all together on one tape with no direction whatsoever beyond the request that one song be a cover version of one of the other artists on the compilation. We were going for a weird cross-polination of common themes and distinct mediums - I swear this all made sense when I was drunk. Stop yelling at me. Just listen to it.
